The Finca where time stands still… The past is the present when you are a special guest at San Ricardo`s Farm & Lodge, a historic home, approximately 1-1/ hour away from Guatemala City. Located in the town of Tecpan at foothills of the Big Mountain of Nimajuyù, North West Highlands, we are between Antigua Guatemala and Lake Atitlan.
The cold climate, exuberant nature and land fertility are trademarks o the highlands, the home of Guatemala`s mayan descendants.

Why lodging in San Ricardo?
San Ricardo offers you 6 cozy casitas completely furnished, guests may stroll 140 acres, observing birds, rabbits, squirrels, other wild life or horse back riding, biking and hicking are available.
Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay, or visit us for a day, in our hand-built, adobe finca, recently restored by Roberto & Anna Lembke, the owner, manager and spiritual force behind SanRicardo.
Activities abound in our tranquil valley. Without leaving our grounds, you can hike our nature trails or go birdwatching. We also can tailor special tours around, where you will enjoy the Kackchiquel mayan live culture visiting their villages, learn about their weaving beauties, Comalapas town of artists, it is also welknown as the American little Folrence, art galleries every corner.
For those who enjoy light adventure, we can take you out fishing and pic-nic up to the mountains around. Tour to Antigua, Panajachel, Chichi and many other towns.
Further afield, the Guatemala region offers abundant adventure for the curious traveler.
The famous Maya Archeological ruins of Iximchè are but minutes away, as are a wide assortment of cultural and natural attractions, including museums, nature parks, veggy & flowers plantations, dairy farms, smoked pork meat factories, hot springs and exciting hikes.
And do not forget the gentle charms of the picturesque town of Tecpan. Many people enjoy simply sitting in the central park watching the townsfolk pass by and local musicians and vendors.
At the end of the day, relax in a hammock with a refreshing cocktail as the sun sets over the mountains.
